13.     WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Winterson, requesting, that the Committee on Public Safety and Neighborhoods be DISCHARGED FROM FURTHER CONSIDERATION OF THE FOLLOWING MATTER: That the City of New Bedford consider establishing “SAFE ZONES” located at Police or Sheriff Station parking lots or lobbies, to enable users of Craigslist and other online classified services to complete their transactions in a secure environment; and further, that 871 Rockdale Avenue, New Bedford, MA, the New Bedford Police Department Headquarters Parking Lot, be established as a “SAFE ZONE”.
