ELIGIBILITY CREDIT PROGRAM

21. WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Alves, in light that the current New Bedford Fairhaven Harbor Plan expired in June 2015, the City Council requests that as the City develops the next version of the Harbor Plan, that the City restore the Eligibility Credit Program that existed in the 2000 Harbor Plan, but removed in the 2010 Harbor Plan, by restoring the Eligibility Credit Program, the City will provide the greatest degree of flexibility for development along our waterfront with the greatest degree of reliability as to the impact and benefits of any new developments on the working waterfront. (To be Referred to the Committee on Ordinances.)
