PROPOSED INCREASE ON CAR INSURANCE

19. WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Gomes, requesting, that the City Council go on record against the Massachusetts Insurance Companies request for a proposed 9% increase on Car Insurance Policies in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; and further, that letters be sent to our State Delegation, the House and Senate leadership and the Massachusetts Insurance Commission of our opposition to this increase due to the fact that Insurance Companies had already implemented a increase in the beginning of this year; and further, requesting, that Rule 40 be Waived.
