17.     REPORT, Committee on Appointments & Briefings, recommending to the City Council to take “NO FURTHER ACTION” on the WRITTEN MOTION, Councillors Gomes and Giesta, requesting, that Mass DOT and South Coast Rail officials meet with residents and business owners in the Church Street area of the proposed train station now to be located at the former Julius Koch USA, Inc., site for the purpose of explaining why the train station site that originally was supposed to be located at the Fieldstone Plaza has been changed; and further, that the Administration explain how it will recoup the tens of thousands of dollars in tax revenue from this property.
