10.     WRITTEN MOTION, Councillors Abreu, Giesta, Lima, Council President Lopes, Councillors Baptiste and Markey, requesting that the New Bedford Port Authority, the Health Department, a representative of Centro Comunitario de Trabajadores and a representative of the Fishing Partnership Support Services' New Bedford Office come before the Committee on Fisheries to discuss the public outreach plan for all commercial fishing and seafood processing employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccination since anyone affiliated with the industry became eligible as of March 22, 2021; the Port of New Bedford currently employees roughly 6,200 individuals, many of whom work side by side with one another in tight spaces, ensuring that there is a comprehensive public/private community outreach vaccination plan is vital in keeping the nation's leading seafood supply chain moving forward without any disruptions.(To be Referred to the Committee on Fisheries.)
