WRITTEN MOTION - OVERGROWTH OF WEEDS

11. WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Gomes, requesting, that letters be sent to Governor Baker, Massachusetts DOT, and our State Legislative Delegation, requesting immediate action in addressing the trash, the overgrowth of trees, weeds and bushes along Route 195 east and west, to include all exits from Route 24, Fall River north and south to Route 240 Fairhaven, the overgrowth is so bad in some areas that it’s impeding the vision of traffic coming off exits, signage along the highway, even the existence of guard rails, the South Coast area deserves the same attention to its highways and exits as the Boston area, this is first impression to tourists and those visiting this area and more importantly to our image and the Cities and Towns along that route. (Requesting Rule 40 be Waived.)
