REPORT-NO FURTHER ACTION - PROTECTING CITY EMPLOYEES FROM THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

20. REPORT, Committee on Ordinances, recommending to the City Council to take “NO FURTHER ACTION” on the WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Morad, Council President Lopes and Councillor Gomes, that the City Council explore the development and implementation of policies/Ordinances that will serve to protect City employees from the spread of COVID-19 as an alternative to the Administration’s vaccine and testing mandate; and further how employees’ privacy rights can be protected with regard to the information required to be provided and how employees will be protected from absorbing any costs that vaccination or testing could potentially be imposed on them going forward resulting from the imposition of such a mandate.
