1.         PUBLIC HEARING, WRITTEN MOTION, Council President Abreu and Councillor Markey, requesting that Map 135, Lot 9 (WS Braley Road) and Lot 11 (WS Braley Road) be rezoned from Industrial C to Residential B, this change would be consistent with the Residential B lots which abut these parcels of land. 1a.     COMMUNICATION, Jennifer Carloni, Director, City Planning, to Councillor Hugh Dunn, Chairman, Ordinance Committee, advising that the Planning Board held a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, to discuss the request for the rezoning of Map 135, Lots 9 & 11 (WS Braley Road) from Industrial C to Residential B; the Planning Board voted to send an UNFAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION, recommending that the City Council deny the request to rezone Map 135, Lots 9 & 11.  The Planning Boards denied on a vote of 0-5.

2c.    COMMUNICATION, Jennifer Carloni, Director, City Planning, to Councillor Hugh Dunn, Chairman, Ordinance Committee, advising that the Planning Board held a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, regarding the proposed amendment to New Bedford’s Housing Development Incentive Program (HDIP) Plan and the Downtown New Bedford Housing Development Zone.  The Planning Board voted to send a FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION for the proposed amendments.
