		1. COMMUNICATION, Council President Morad, to City Clerk/Clerk of the City Council Dennis W. Farias, calling a SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL for WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., in CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, SECOND FLOOR OF CITY HALL, for the celebration and awarding of official City Council Citations and Resolutions.

		2. Councillors Carney, Giesta, Pereira, Council President Morad and Councillor Gomes, honoring NEW BEDFORD POLICE, FIRE, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES, EMERGENCY MANGEMENT, ANIMAL CONTROL and the PROVIDENCE CANTEEN, for their heroic life-saving efforts at the Royal Crown Lodging fire on March 28, 2023.

CITATIONS, Councillors Pereira and Burgo, honoring ISABELLA LIMA, ANGEL GUTIERREZ GOMEZ, DELMEILLYS LORELMIS CALDERON MARCANO, JASLENE QUINONEZ, BRENNA SANTOS, KEILA SOARES, AVLEENA DONNELLY, DELIZA ST. 		8. CITATION, Councillor Abreu, honoring COREY HEBERT, in recognition of his finishing first place in the New Bedford Resident Male Division at the 43rd Annual New Bedford Half-Marathon with a finishing time of 1:20:02 on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

		9. CITATION, Councillor Abreu, honoring Amilton “A.J. TAVARES, JR.”, in recognition of his being inducted into the New Bedford High School All Sports Hall of Fame.

		10. CITATION, Councillor Oliver, honoring ANN M. SYLVIA and ROBERT R. CORDEIRO, in recognition of being inducted into the Guinness Book of World Record for the most consecutive days to run an official half-marathon by a married couple.

CITATIONS, Councillor Baptiste, honoring New Bedford Bears Pop Warner Cheerleading Coaches, TRINA BULGAR, NORMA BELAY, DEREK FERNANDES ALVES and HOLLY MORALES, in recognition of their first-place finish in the Rhode Island Regionals, their second-place finish in the New England Regional and for representing New Bedford at the National Tournament in Orlando, Florida.

		14. CITATION, Councillor Baptiste, honoring DANIELLE ISOM, Steppingstone, Inc., in recognition of her dedication to the individuals in our community who suffer with addiction, homelessness and mental health disorders.
