PUBLIC HEARING on a WRITTEN MOTION, Councillors Burgo, Pereira and Markey, requesting, on behalf of Carlos Madeira, that Plot 132I-Lot35 (WS Acushnet Avenue) be rezoned from Residential A and Mixed-Use Business to MIXED-USE BUSINESS in its entirety. (To be Referred to the Committee on Ordinances and the Planning Board.) (Ref’d 06/22/2023) (Matter ID #1194) (Duly advertised in The Standard-Times on Monday, August 07, 2023 and Monday, August 14, 2023.)

 

1a. COMMUNICATION, Jennifer Carloni, Director, City Planning, to Councillor Ryan J. Pereira, Chairman, Committee on Ordinances, advising that the Planning Board held a public hearing on Wednesday, August 09, 2023 to discuss a request by Councillors Ryan J. Pereira, Shane A. Burgo and William Brad Markey, on behalf of petitioner Carlos Madeira, for the Planning Board to review the request and make a recommendation to the City Council for its consideration regarding Plot 132I-Lot35 (WS Acushnet Avenue) being rezoned from Residential A and Mixed-Use Business to MIXED-USE BUSINESS in its entirety; the Planning Board voted to send a FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION for the rezoning request. (Ref’d 08/17/2023)
