2.     HEARING, ORDERED, that the following petroleum license hereby be REVOKED: 987 PLEASANT STREET, originally granted on July 19,1979 for one (1) underground 3,000 gallon gasoline tank, two (2) underground 2,000 gallon gasoline tanks and one (1) underground 5,000 gallon gasoline tank,  two tanks holding a total of 6,000 gallons of gasoline were removed on September 21, 2016.

10.     REPORT, Committee on Appointments & Briefings, recommending to the City Council to take “NO FURTHER ACTION” on the WRITTEN MOTION, Council President Gomes, requesting, that the Committee on Appointments and Briefings, meet with all Veteran agencies that are presently utilizing the Waldron Barracks to provide services to the Veterans of the Greater New Bedford area; and further that all Veteran agencies provide the City Council’s Committee on Appointments and Briefings with paperwork for the assistance they provided to Veterans along with the name of the Commanding Officer for each agency of service, that provide Veterans services out of this location.

12.     WRITTEN MOTION, Councillors Dunn, Abreu, Winterson and Council President Lopes, requesting, that the Health Department, the Department of Public Infrastructure, the Traffic Commission and the Mayor's office explore the implementation of a program that places, at popular panhandling locations, signage designed to encourage and facilitate responsible giving by providing a telephone number to both donate to local charities that provide food, shelter and mental health services and enable this at risk population to access these services. 

13.     WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Gomes, requesting, that the City take immediate steps to install carbon monoxide detectors not only in the entire fleet of Police Ford Explorer vehicles in the department, but that the City install CO2 detectors in EMS, Department of Public Infrastructure and any City department using Ford Explorers in their fleet; and further, that this action be taken immediately for the safety and well-being of public safety officers and City workers.
14.     WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Coelho, requesting, that Fire Chief Michael Gomes be invited to a Committee on Public Safety and Neighborhoods meeting to discuss the recent suspicious vehicle and residential fires that have occurred in the City; and further, provide Committee members with an update on the situation, is there anything information he can make public to help the community, are the fires arson related, have any arrests been made, etc.
