NEW BUSINESS
4.     WRITTEN MOTION, Councillors Abreu, Baptiste, Council President Lopes, Councillors Giesta, Carney and Lima, requesting, that Department of Public Infrastructure Commissioner Jamie Ponte (or his designee) come before the Special Committee on Infrastructure and Redevelopment to discuss the City's "Streetscan" program, and how DPI utilizes the Pavement Condition Index (PCI), which is a numerical rating that grades the severity of distresses observed on the pavement surface of our streets/roads. (To be Referred to the Special Committee on Infrastructure and Redevelopment and DPI Commissioner Jamie Ponte.)
5.     WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Abreu, Council President Lopes, Councillors Baptiste and Giesta, requesting, that the New Bedford City Council send a letter to Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA), the Administration and New Bedford Health Department to discuss the feasibility of implementing a free public transportation plan for all City residents, especially our Seniors who do not have access to adequate transportation, to receive the COVID-19 vaccination when all of the MASS Covid-19 vaccination sites are all fully open and operational. (To be Referred to SRTA, the Mitchell Administration, New Bedford Health Department and Committee on Public Safety and Neighborhoods). 
6.     WRITTEN MOTION, Councillors Morad and Markey, requesting that City Solicitor Mikaela McDermott, Environmental Stewardship Director Michele Paul and Chief Financial Officer Ari Sky appear before the Committee on Finance to brief the Committee on the status of outside counsel representing the City of New Bedford in the proposed Parallel Products development in the New Bedford Business Park; and further the Committee on Finance be briefed on the City's plan of action with regard to Final Environmental Impact Report that Parallel Products recently filed with the Massachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs. (To be Referred to the Committee on Finance.)

7.     WRITTEN MOTION, Council President Lopes, Councillors Abreu and Lima, requesting that the Mitchell Administration work with the City’s public safety units (Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Management) in regard to implementing a City-wide after hours and weekend COVID-19 testing program for City residents; the lead public safety unit would be the Fire Department and they would work in conjunction with EMS and Emergency Management to implement said COVID-19 testing program for City residents.

8.     WRITTEN MOTION, Council President Lopes, requesting that the New Bedford Port Authority provide the members of the City Council with status report for aquaculture farming in New Bedford.

9.     PETITION, EDWARD W. BOLDUC, WESTPORT, MA 02790 d/b/a Cojo’s Toy World, 763 Purchase Street, requesting that he be granted a Waiver of Residency in accordance with Section 15-18 of the City Code, to obtain a LICENSE TO DEAL IN JUNK, OLD METALS OR ANY OTHER SECOND HAND ARTICLES.
